Back in early December I decided to purchase the IGUS slider from Amazon, I had read some reviews on it and being only around $170, I decided to bite the bullet and give it a try. When it arrived though, I felt that the slider was really stiff. It didn’t slide as smoothly as I would’ve liked. I played around with it for a while, but ultimately was just not satisfied with it. The only good thing about it was the fact that it was really light, and inexpensive.
Then come January, and I stumble upon this Korean slider known as the Konova Slider on eBay. This thing is slick! Although double the price of the IGUS slider after shipping and such, it is by far much better. It works on roller bearings, and from my initial test, these bearings just glide on the rail. I can’t believe how smooth it is. Here are some pictures of it. I haven’t had the chance to do a video test yet, but when I do get the time, it will come.
