City of Surrey Projects – Robson Park and Cloverdale

By May 19, 2011Videography

Over the past couple weeks, I’ve attended the Robson Park and Cloverdale grand opening ceremonies worked to put together a short promotional reel for each ceremony. I’ve attached them both below for your viewing pleasure.

Cloverdale Opening Ceremony:
Cloverdale’s new 66,000 square foot multipurpose recreation centre features three full sized gymnasiums, a large fitness/weight room and a variety of multipurpose rooms including Preschool, Seniors’ and Youth spaces. The size and design will be similar to the Guildford and South Surrey Recreation Centres. This facility will host a wide range of programs and events for people of all ages.

Robson Park Park Revitalization Ceremony:
Over 600 people were in attendance on Saturday to mark the official re-opening of Robson Park. The park revitalization project included several enhancements to recreation amenities, improved public safety, upgraded environmental features, and drainage improvements to improve water quality and protect downstream habitat. The project successfully merged the need for storm water management in an older neighborhood with the need to revitalize a dated park facility.
